Went in Saturday night for a meal. I definitely recommend ringing and booking a table very busy had a nice table in the new part of the restaurant .Great atmosphere and service impeccable spicy prawn crackers to start delicious with a oint of brooklyn ipa .then pork dumplings so delicious and spicy squid. Then mains king prawn pad thai and yakiniku donburi with another brooklyn to wash it down with .another great meal in Colchester .Will definitely be back great service all round noodle bar
Haven’t been in years, and didn’t disappoint! Extra seating and new decor - and amazing food great service and atmosphere will definitely be coming back. Great to support a local independent restaurant
We fancied a bite with flavour: Noodle Bar it is! The BBQ ribs were sticky and meaty, perfect. The squid had a nice light batter and the sauce the right bite, perfect again. Mains included their signature dish the North Hill Noodle: very nice portion, a good balance of meat and noodles too (unlike some places where you search for the meat!) and flavoursome obviously! I had the Roast Duck Red Thai Curry: I was not disappointed! It was so tasty, a great portion too, and the red curry was so tasty too and not overpowering the rest of the dish! The only thing I would suggest is for the waiters to check a bit more upstairs, we would have liked to renew our drinks but the chap was kept so busy (it was a busy night in fairness to him!). The atmosphere is great, there is a really nice vibe. Some may find it a bit crowded and not enjoy being on top of each other somehow. We didn't mind! Definitely a place we will come back to in order to try more dishes!
Wow! What a find. The best chicken laksa I’ve ever had. Full of flavour, absolutely delicious. Want to go back already! My husbands food was also excellent. Noodles & Bao bun. 5 star overall
We had a wonderful lunch date at North Hill Noodle Bar. We reserved a table for 12am, when they open and good thing we did cause it got busy quickly! The staff and the service in general was really good and professional. The food tasted fresh and amazing, definitely coming back for more!
Visited last night and as always the food was faultless the service excellent and the prices very reasonable considering the quality. Recommend booking as it does get very busy and it's easy to see why. So much better than the chain round the corner!
I had a wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous. I had the roast duck, which filled me up and was tender and wonderfully done. Other members of the party were vegan and were very happy with their dishes. The service was great and the staff were friendly. Great value for money. Little wonder it gets booked up fast.
This is one of our favourite places to eat in Colchester. There's always a table available and we're served quickly by the friendly staff. Our food is always delicious and again arrives very soon after ordering.
